Brute™ snow blowers are manufactured by Briggs and Stratton. As the name suggests, this equipment is known for sturdy, durable performance. Brute snow blowers come in two models with clearing widths of 27″ and 29″. They are equipped with the Briggs and Stratton electric start Snow Series engine to deal with the harshest winters.
Brute History
Brute is a registered trademark of the Briggs and Stratton Power Products Group which has a 100-year history in the field of manufacturing. The company began in 1908 with a partnership between Stephen F. Briggs and Harold M. Stratton. In the beginning, they provided power for various agricultural and military purposes. In 1953, their development of a lightweight aluminum engine pushed the business into lawn and garden care. Since then, innovation and acquistion and continued the company’s growth. Today, the Briggs and Stratton group focuses on four businesses: Engine, Yard, Home, and International Power Products.
Special Features of Brute Snow Blower
The 27″ Brute snow blower comes with the Briggs and Stratton 1150 Snow Series OHV engine and has six forward drive speeds and two reverse speeds. It has 16″ X-Trac tires that give increased traction on slippery surfaces. Its steel augur has a sawtooth design that makes short work of snow and ice.
The 29″ Brute snow blower has a 1350 Snow Series OHV engine and all the features of the 27″.

Brute Warranty
Both models of Brute Snow Blowers are warranted for two years from the date of purchase. No product registration is required, but repairs must be made by an authorized dealer. Any fees incurred to transport the product for warranty work is the responsibility of the consumer.
